Alfardan Jewellery branches out to West Bay

Alfardan Jewellery has opened its fifth branch at the Alfardan Towers in West Bay.
The sprawling showroom that houses some of the leading jewellery and watch names in the world has a boutique as well as a display area spread over two floors. It was opened at a glittering function on Thursday.
Top global brands such as Chopard, Franck Muller, Harry Winston, Piaget and Breguet are on display. Customers can also sit down, relax and appreciate Van Gogh paintings and read books at the showroom.
Alfardan Jewellery was established in 1954. Its branches in the country include Ghadah Jewellery & Al Manaara at the Al Fardan Centre, Ghadah Jewellery at the Almana Centre on Al Saad Street, Alfardan Jewellery & Chopard Boutique at the City Centre and Alfardan Jewellery at the Landmark Mall.
The Qatar-based company has outlets in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Sharjah and other Gulf cities as well.
Alfardan Group chairman Hussein Alfardan, accompanied by leading businessmen, well-wishers and jewellery admirers, were present at the opening. Hussein Alfardan, who cut the ribbon to open the showroom, also addressed the gathering.
Alfardan has been a pioneering role in Qatar in the jewellery and watches industry. Earlier in February, Alfardan Jewellery sparkled by setting up the largest pavilion at the Doha Watches and Jewellery Exhibition.
The jewellery on display by Alfardan includes brands such as Chanel, de Grisogono, Corum, Gerald Genta, Roger Dubuis, Chaumet, Milus, Girard Perregaux, Van Der Bauwede, Alain Philippe, Longines, Vacheron Constantin and Pierr Kunz.
Other world-renowned brands available are Dior, Maria Gaspari, Baume & Mercier, Graff, Alain Philippe, Stefan Hafner, Ritmo Myndo, Cvxtos, Valente, Rodolphe, Jaquet Droz and Bartheley.
“We have all the latest collection (2008-2009) available at this new showroom as well as at other locations,” an official said.
Most of Alfardan Jewellery designs are exclusive to the brand. The pioneering work in product development has been a key factor behind making Alfardan Jewellery a preferred choice, the official said.
Chopard’s luxury watch and jewellery range sparkles with quality and creativity, which have been the hallmarks of the brand founded in 1860.
A good selection of high precision watches and jewellery from Chopard, that symbolises a skilful mix of innovation by using high technology and traditional craftsmanship, has also been showcased.
Franck Muller watches displayed at the showroom continue to reflect the master watchmaker’s creative talent as well as the perfect balance between craftsmanship and elegance.
Harry Winston watches are another attraction. The brand has women’s and men’s watches collections that are set with precious stones, its bearing stones and the luster are Harry Winston’s signature of expertise. The men’s watches are famous for their technical innovations.
Piaget timepieces are meticulously hand-crafted since 1874. It also stands for ultra-thin watches, exclusive jewellery creations, along with a wide range of gold and sparkling with diamonds.
